OUR PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION POLICY

Net Privity, Professional Corporation

Net Privity, Professional Corporation ("Net Privity", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy, and ensuring you have a positive experience on our website and services. Net Privity is incorporated as a Professional Corporation with fiduciary governance. This means our board of directors, officers, and employees are bound as a matter of governance to place your privacy interests above shareholder returns.

Importantly, your privacy is not just a compliance feature we offer—it's one of our primary obligations to you as our valued Patron. Those obligations are spelled out by our membership in the GliaNet Fiduciaries Pledge. That Pledge includes treating you as our valued Patron, under fiduciary duties of care, fidelity, and loyalty, as spelled out in Company policies such as this.

1. OUR BASELINE

Traditional terms of service documents, such as privacy policies, are produced by online companies as ways of unilaterally defining and limiting the scope of what they provide to end users. As such, they are asymmetrical by nature, offering little opportunity for individuals to express their own preferences and promote their own terms.

Net Privity offers itself to its Patrons as a trustworthy steward of personal data. In doing so, we embrace the traditional common law role of a loyal fiduciary, but in this case for the individual's personal data. This fiduciary role is like that played by a doctor (for one's health), or lawyer (for one's legal status), or financial advisor (for one's money). These entities hold themselves out in direct and trustworthy relationships with their patients, clients, and customers, under strong duties of care and loyalty. Net Privity voluntarily takes on that same kind of trust-based relationship with its Patrons.

As noted above, we are part of the GliaNet Fiduciaries Pledgemark program. This means, among other things, that we strive with prudent practices to protect your personal data from harm, that we have no conflict of interest with any third parties, such as data brokers, and that we promote your best interests. With this set of care and loyalty duties, and its treatment of end users as Patrons, Net Privity stands out from other online companies as a data fiduciary. At present Net Privity is constrained by the limitations of technology to provide a more robust means for its Patrons to engage in symmetrical arrangements. As such, this "Terms of Engagement" document is intended as a substitute. By using our Service, you are agreeing to review and be bound by the Terms that incorporate our Privacy Policy.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

During the course of our commercial relationship with you as our Patron, we may collect information about you in a variety of ways. None of this data is sold, bartered, traded, shared, or otherwise used in ways that would be contrary to your interests.
